The honest version of how we got here

Chillpreneur started in 2019 with a simple but radical idea: what if building a successful business didn't have to cost you everything?

Erin May Henry built the original Chillpreneur from the ground up, the community, the frameworks, the philosophy, the audience. And for a while, it worked. Really worked. Six figures, thousands of clients, a platform that genuinely helped women build businesses differently.

And then, like a lot of things that get built from the outside in, it stopped feeling like her.

So she stepped away. Spent a few years in a completely different world, creative direction, brand production, building physical spaces. Learning new things. Losing the thread of herself a little. Finding it again. Losing it again.

And now she's back. Not with a triumphant rebrand and a perfectly packaged return. But with something more valuable than that, the lived experience of having built something, dismantled it, and rebuilt herself in the process.

The Chillpreneur you're looking at right now is being rebuilt in real time. Honestly. Messily. With full awareness that the only way to build a movement about authentic identity-led growth is to actually do it that way.

What Chillpreneur actually is

It's a movement for women who believe there is a different way to build.

Not the hustle harder way. Not the perform-for-the-algorithm way. Not the sacrifice-your-nervous-system-and-call-it-ambition way.

The become who you actually are way. The build-from-joy way. The your-business-should-feel-like-the-most-creative-expression-of-you way.

We call it becoming the coolest person you know, not because it's about being impressive, but because it's about being so fully, unapologetically yourself that your business, your life, and your identity all start pointing in the same direction.

That's what we're building here. And we're building it together.

About Erin

Erin May Henry is a business mentor, framework builder, and if you ask her clients, the person who will see the version of you that you've been trying to become before you can fully see it yourself.

Over eight years and thousands of clients she has built one reputation: she doesn't just teach strategy. She sees people. And then she helps them build businesses that actually look like them.

She is also, right now, in her own becoming. Rebuilding her platform, her identity, and her relationship with her work after a hard few years. She doesn't teach this from a place of having it all figured out, she teaches it from inside the lived experience of what it actually takes to find your way back to yourself.

That's not a weakness. That's the whole point.

The mission

To build a cultural space where ambitious women come to become, not just to grow their businesses, but to grow into the fullest, most alive version of themselves.

Where identity comes first. Where joy is a strategy. Where the life you actually want to live is the starting point, not the reward at the end.

This is where you begin.
